Amethyst - Mystic Blend

This disc is the perfect midrange. It's reliably stable. I've come close to acing multiple times with it!

Mold has a very natural feel in the hand. Straight flyer with a little turn and slight fade. Very true to the flight numbers for me. The Mystic Blend is super grippy and gets a nice snap on release. Can't wait to try the Serene Blend!

Full transparency: I was one of 6(?) people to win the giveaway when these went live, and as much as I love winning free stuff, this has gone beyond all expectations.

My max distance on flatground is not elite level, but I can push 400ft with the glide on these Amethysts in a wide open field. Parking baskets out to 350ft on the course. It's got a little pop up and panning turn to it with a reliable fade, and a tad more glide than flight numbers would suggest. Very workable, and the plastic feels incredible.

I came across this disc at OTB while talking with Maria Oliva and I instantly noticed how amazing the disc felt in my hand. After throwing it in the field I knew I needed a back-up because this was going to be my new work horse mid. I find that it be thrown on any angle and likes to hold it. I can throw it nice and flight with a slight fade. It was even torque resistant when I used it for forehand approach shots.
I had not heard of this disc before buying it, super glad I took a chance on it.
